Dr. Corey J. Griffiths
My parents tell me I wanted to be a veterinarian since before I could say the word. Growing up in Martins Ferry, Ohio, my family's pets were an important part of my childhood. The connection I felt with them, combined with the love and support of my family, helped me focus my abstract goal of wanting to help animals into a concrete career path.
After graduating from the Ohio State University in 2000 with a degree in Animal Science, I enrolled in the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. I left the college in 2004 with a doctorate of veterinary medicine degree and a strong interest in emergency medicine and ophthalmology.
In July 2004, I joined the staff at Twin Maples Veterinary Hospital and have enjoyed the team approach to medicine and working with all of my clients and patients. When not at the hospital, I spend most of my time waiting on my two basset hounds, Taylor and Tucker.
